Hey hey everyone! Maggie here with a look at a page I created with the brand new Sunny Days Collection! I just LOVE Sunny Days! The colors & designs are so perfect for summer!
Although we have a few more memories to make before I can start scrapping our summer in earnest, I did find a few photos from last summer that needed to be documented. So I grabbed one of those and created this layout…
I love so many of the Sunny Days patterned papers I couldn’t decide which to use for my page…so I grabbed my favorites (from the 6×6 paper stack, too) and used them all!
To create my circle, I laid out my papers and used an old-school compass to draw a circle. Then I simply cut out my pieces and adhered them to my page. A line of stitching around the circle distracts from my poor cutting abilities (seriously, I don’t know how I made it past kindergarten) and adds a little texture to the page. If you’d like to create something similar, we have made a cut file that you can download for free!
I added my photo, a journaling card (printed on my printer) and a few embellishments (the wood veneers, bits and pieces, stamp, and puffy stickers) and I was done! I LOVE this bright, colorful summer page…and I can’t wait to create more…
