Good Morning! I’m excited to be sharing some of my Project Life Album with you this morning. I just started working on the month of July and I had to start my second album; here’s hoping the last half of the year will all fit in this one album! I’m using the 9×12 size album this year and I absolutely have loved this size!
When I first start working on a spread in my album, I decide first which page protectors I’m going to use. This will determine what size photos and how many photos I need. I usually always plan to have at least one pocket on each page contain strictly journaling.
Sometimes, depending on if I am short on pictures, I may include more journaling. For this spread, I was using a page protector that had ten 3×4 pockets and four 4×6 pockets. I printed off six 3×4 photos and two 4×6 photos using Adobe Photoshop and my Canon Selphy printer. This printer makes it extremely easy to print my pictures directly at home as needed!
Once my photos are printed, I cut them all out and decide which cards I want to use. I typically back all of my photos on either 4×6 cards/paper or 3×4 cards/paper. I typically always stitch these photos down using my sewing machine. First, I get all the sewing done; second, I always type out my journaling on my tags and labels; third, I cut out all the typed labels and adhere them down onto their respective photos. I finish off with stickers and other embellishments.
Thanks so much for stoppingĀ by to take a peek at my pocket pages!
