PROJECT LIFE

Today I am sharing the week of October 13-19 in my Project Life album.IMG_8183

I think fall is my favorite season to document.   At the least, it’s the season where I have my camera out and taking photos the most.  This particular week was our Fall Break and we spent it in Michigan.   Although we only spent half of the week here, I decided to use the full spread to highlight our memories and photography of the spectacular scenery.

My spread from the week before included a preserved leaf, which you see the backside to here.   I just journaled the memories and events from the earlier part of the week before our trip.  I wanted the photos to only highlight our time in Michigan.

I included the 6×12 insert by Becky Higgins.  I decided to keep it simple and highlight two of my favorite photos in this insert.   The front side was from our apple orchard adventure, and the backside is a photo of my children walking down the road by the lake house.

For the majority of this spread I used items from the Sycamore Lane collection.  It is perfect for fall documenting!

On the right page I included some lettering with our Letter and Number Stickers.  Whenever I make a block of lettering, I always begin with the middle word, which was “and”, and placed it in the middle of the page.  I do this by beginning with the letter “n” in “and” and placing it in the middle.

We’d love to see your Project Life album! Make sure you upload what you are working on to our gallery and tag the Elle’s Studio products that you used. We feature our members projects every Sunday, so make sure you check back to see if you project is being spotlighted in our “Project Spotlight” blog series. Each person that is spotlighted will also receive a $10 Elle’s Studio gift certificate to use in our shop!
