Project Life

Today’s Project Life covers the week of November 4-10th.
Have you ever had a week that went by and suddenly you realized you took maybe 4 photos?   Well this was that week for us!   Super busy.   In order to compensate for the lack of photos, I enlarged one photo to use for a full page.
Sometimes I forget that there are other ways to document our week than photos.  Sure, photos are usually my foundation, but even on a low-photo week, there are other ways to document.

I almost exclusively used items from the Elle’s Studio November Kit— I love this kit!   It was perfect for filling in the stories when I lacked the photos!

On the enlarged photo I added two small pieces from the kit.  The “yummy” tag was adhered on top of the pocket page.  The “Yes Please” tag was perfect since I messed up my photo trimming a bit and had extra space for the particular pocket.

On the right page I added a fall leaf and preserved it to maintain the color in my album.  I blogged a tutorial that you can read here on how to preserve fall leaves.  I still have leaves from two years ago that still have the fall color!  This is such a fun thing to include in an album!

We want to feature your Project Life album!  During the last week of each month we will be featuring a couple Project Life spreads that caught our eye in the Member Gallery.  We will be posting Project Life spreads on our blog tomorrow!   If your spread is featured we will be sending you a $5 gift card to use in our store.   Good Luck!

Project Life was created by Becky Higgins as a way to simplify how you document life and preserve memories. Photo pockets used in my Project Life album are created by Becky and can be found here.  You can read of all the Elle’s Studio Project Life posts here.
