This week’s Project Life covers the week of June 3rd-9th as well as my album cover page.
I have been dividing my Project Life albums into three different albums. The first from January to May (last day of school), the second May to late August (first day of school), and August to December. Although the first and second books get pretty full, it seems like a natural way to divide the year. I love having a separate album that is just for summer.
My cover page for my summer Project Life is very similar to last years cover page, however it’s everyone in my family, not just me. It was fun trying to get this shot. I enlarged it to a 12×12 and divided it into the pockets. I layered the
Pennant and wood veneer on top the pockets so that it would overlap
This was an interesting week to document– half of the week was our road trip home from Florida, the other half was a blur of laundry, unpacking bags, and getting back into the swing of things. But there was lots of good stuff to document.
I loved using lots of Saltwater in this spread. I highlighted the beautiful mint color that is found in this collection along with orange, and yellow. Love this combo!
Once we returned home I didn’t take many photos for the remainder of the week! However it gave me the opportunity to journal and write about what we did.
We want to feature your Project Life album! During the last week of each month we will be featuring a couple Project Life spreads that caught our eye in the Member Gallery. We will be posting Project Life spreads on our blog tomorrow! If your spread is featured we will be sending you a $5 gift card to use in our store. Good Luck!
Project Life was created by Becky Higgins as a way to simplify how you document life and preserve memories. Photo pockets used in my Project Life album are created by Becky and can be found here. You can read of all the Elle’s Studio Project Life posts here.
