Project Life

This week covers week 4: January 21-27, 2013.
Continuing on my quest of adding new items and perspectives in my album in 2013, this week included a few unexpected and fun ephemera.

I added a catalog question mark image (I think this came from the J.Crew catalog), to document the fact that our son is asking thousands of questions daily about an upcoming Disney trip (bless his heart).   I also included a printed image from my favorite TV show- Downton Abbey.  This particular week was a BIG week on the show.   I also trimmed down a take out box to document that we frequently get chinese take out on the weekends!

I thought I would begin sharing a bit about my photos and the ratio between DSLR and iPhone photos.  This week includes 5 DSLR photos (3 of these were convered to instax via Pivi Printer by Fujifilm), and 7 photos were taken by my iPhone.  I definitely include more photos taken by my phone on a weekly basis.  It just fits with my lifestyle and its so convenient.
One photography idea is to include a full 4×6 (a pattern or close up would work well with this) and place a title over the photo.  I did this with rice krispy treats my mom made for us.  I love how it gives the photo an editorial look.

On my 4×6 photo on the left page, I trimmed a 3×4 tabbed tag to include just the tab part on the edge of the photo.   The tab tags are so versatile!
