Project Life Tuesday

Happy Tuesday! It’s another day of Project Life here at Elle’s Studio. How is your Project Life coming along? Or if you currently do not participate in Project Life, are we tempting you to give it a try in 2012? 🙂

Today’s Project Life documents the week of October 24-30. As I was documenting this week, I felt as if I wasn’t picking up the camera as much as I usually do, and in result, would not have many photos. Because of this, I was on the look out for bits and pieces of our everyday life that I could include in the album for this week.

It turns out I had plenty of photos, but I had alot of fun being creative with the items I included this week. Some of my found items were part of my prescription (which went along with the photo on the left page), a note from my daughter’s preschool teacher, the DVD cover to Charlie Brown and the Great Pumpkin”, and my sons first Report Card.

I didn’t have the right sized insert/transparency for the DVD cover and Report Card, so I ended up using a 12×12 page protector, and sewing it down the side (leaving top still open) and trimming. It’s definitely not perfect but I like that handmade touch it brings to the page.

I used many Elle’s Studio products this week. I noticed a theme as I was using my Elle’s Studio tags– I found myself trimming some of the tags down to fit the size I needed. For instance the top left photo with the pennant was originally part of the Summer Memories Large Circle Journaling Tag. The “October faves” insert was trimmed down from the Spooktacular Autumn Large Journaling Tags. Don’t be afraid to get your scissors out and make the products work for the space you are using!

Thanks for stopping by today! We have something extra fun cookin’ for next week’s Project Life Post– our first ever Elle’s Studio Project Life Guest Designer! Any guesses to who it might be??? You won’t want to miss it!! 🙂
