Hello, Elle’s Studio friends, and happy Fall! It’s Aimee here with you today sharing a festive fall layout using the September 2022 kit and add-ons! I just love fall—the colors, the smells, and the treats! One of my favs is, of course, pumpkin coffee. I know, it’s a little played out but I can’t help it! Whenever this yummy cold brew coffee comes out I have to pick one up. Let’s take a look at my ode to pumpkin coffee!
Supplies | September 2022 Kit, September 2022 Labels, Halloween Die Cuts, Jane Tile Alphabet Cardstock Stickers – Candy Corn, Autumn Chipboard Stickers, Black Puffy Alphabet Stickers, Thankful Paper Stack, Halloween Tabs Stamp
I wanted to create a fun, clustery, layered page for this one and just have a little fun. I cut down the polka dot 4 x 6-inch tag from the September 2022 Kit as well as a 3 x 4″ tag to use as layers behind my photo. Never be afraid to do this—it works just as well as full-size patterned paper!
I created a cluster of frames up at the top of the page by overlapping frames from the Halloween Die Cuts and the Autumn Chipboard Stickers. I thought it would be fitting to add the chipboard sticker that says, “tradition” because tradition it is! It’s always a good idea to include stickers or elements that can bring context to your layout when possible.
I created a second cluster down at the bottom of the page to draw the eye across the layout and decided to do a festive title. I used the September 2022 Labels as an anchor and spelled out, “pumpkin forever”. How perfect are those Candy Corn Jane Tile Alphabet Cardstock Stickers?
To finish everything off, I added black acrylic paint splatter and some light stamping with the stars and sparkles icon from the Halloween Tabs Stamp. This photo doesn’t tell a particularly important story and it’s important to note that that isn’t a necessary prerequisite for scrapbooking. It’s still a bunch of fun to get messy and creative even if it’s just about the little things! I encourage you to document your favorite fall items or treats, if for no other reason but the joy of creating and embracing the season! What will you document?
