Good morning, crafty friends! It’s Kat here, and today and I wanted to share an easy layout that I made with the April cut files! I loved the cute rain clouds and the sunshine, so I decided to make those the focus of my layout and scrapped some photos of my daughter all dressed up for puddle jumping.

I thought the raindrop paper from The Best Paper Stack coordinated perfectly with the die cuts and layout theme, so I glued down a large vertical strip of it in the center of my layout. I also stamped some asterisks from the outline Basic Shapes Stamp in different colors to add a little border to the paper strip.
After I had the photos glued down, I added the die cuts to the top of my page. I also used the Big Hugs Metal Die to cut out some smaller clouds. I decided to doodle around the die cuts because I thought that made them stand out a bit more and I thought the doodling went along with the layout’s playful theme.
Finally, I added in my long title and a fussy cut tag from the April 2022 Kit to finish off the bottom right side of my layout.
