Special Baby Moments Documented with Nathalie Leonelli

Some projects take a while to create, and Nathalie Leonelli is working on one 21 years in the making! She’s using our monthly kit and extras to create a baby book for her now grown son, and we think you’ll love the way that she used the September Kit and extras to create the new spread she’s sharing with us today. Let’s take a look!

If you follow me, you already know that I am creating a baby album/traveler’s notebook for my now 21 year old son (better late than never, right?) so today I would like to share the new layout I created with the awesome Home Sweet Home 6 x 6 Paper Stack and other supplies from the September release.

Supplies | September 2019 Kit, Die Cut Labels — Jewel Tones, Puffy Autumn Heart Stickers, Happy Moments Puffy Stickers, Home Sweet Home 6 x 6 Paper Stack, Good Times Stamp

I love the patterns and warm colors of the Home Sweet Home 6 x 6 Paper Stack and I layered three different sheets opposite my full page photo. They work beautifully with my black & white photos!

The journaling is written on several labels that I placed on the edge of the page to create a vertical line. I even found a great phrase in the Good Times Stamp to place on the last label (Small trick: I just inked half the stamp in question to fit it in!) I also used another stamp from the same set right on the photo under my title:

Finally, the “piece de resistance” is the grouping of puffy hearts running up and down the  center of the page:

I selected five colors from the pack of Puffy Autumn Heart Stickers and arranged them in the same order as they are on one of the tags from the kit (which I then cut and added in my layers.) It immediately makes the spread joyful and fun, don’t you think?

With its 24 sheets, never hesitate to grab an Elle’s Studio Paper Stack as they are always colorful and versatile. I love them and the new Home Sweet Home one is no exception! If you’re like me, you will be using it for pages, pockets, cards and much more!
