Hope everyone had a great week! Sunday is here and since Halloween is over, we thought we’d showcase a Christmas card this week – can you believe it’s already time to start making them? This card is really simple and uses some paper scraps and one of our tags from our Christmas Greetings Snippet. This snippet is a great deal because you get 6 greetings that you could use to make six different cards! And all for just 75 cents!
Here’s how I made this card:
1. I started with a piece of 8 x 6 inch cardstock, folded it in half so you end up with a card that measures 4 x 6 inches.
2. Then I took a piece of St. Nick from Crate Papers Peppermint 6 x 6 pad and covered the front. All the papers I used on this card came from the same paper pad 😉
3. For the top half I used two scrap pieces from the paper pad, the red piece measures 2.25 x 3.75, and the other piece measures 1.75 x 3.75 inches. You can really use any size of scrap paper you want here, but it looks best when the line where the papers come together is off centered.
4. I then added a border sticker from the Crate Peppermint stickers, and cut to fit.
5. To finish it off I used two chipboard accents from Crates Peppermint line and layered them with one of our pennants from our Lil’ Snippets: Christmas Greetings in between them.
We are giving away the Elle’s Studio product used in this week’s Make It Sunday! This week we are giving away the Lil’ Snippet: Christmas Greetings tag!
