Our new Family Fun collection is all about togetherness and the relationships that we share with the ones we love. Today, Allie Stewart is sharing a layout all about a special family tradition, using the beautiful, autumnal Family Fun color palette and patterns! Let’s see what she made.
Hello there! Today I’m excited to be sharing a layout using the gorgeous new Family Fun collection and the September exclusive products! I love all the beautiful, rich colors and fun patterns.
Supplies | September 2017 Kit, September 2017 Digital Cut File, Thankful Sticker Labels, Autumn Sequins, Autumn Wood Veneer Words, Family Fun Puffy Stickers, Family Fun Acrylic Shapes, Family Fun 6″ x 6″ Paper Stack, Family Fun 12″ x 12″ Paper Collection
To create this layout, I started with the pie shape in the September 2017 Digital Cut File. I cut strips of patterned paper from the Family Fun 12″ x 12″ Paper Collection, as well as the 6″ x 6″ Paper Stack, and glued them onto the cut out pie wedges from the pie chart. I adhered each pie wedge behind the negative shape, and had a fun background!
Because the background is on the busy side, I used a black and white photo for contrast, matting it with white tissue paper to give it a softer look. Next, I cut a large “5” from the “so grateful” tag in the September 2017 Kit, and used the offset tool to mat it onto the woodgrain pattern.
I embellished by using one of the Autumn Wood Veneer Words for my title, along with the acrylic, puffy, and die cut hearts from the Family Fun collection and September 2017 Kit! Finally, I finished with the gorgeous Autumn Sequins and a Thankful Sticker Label!
I LOVED using the Family Fun collection to document a special tradition, and can’t wait to create more projects with it!
