Hiya, Jamie here and today I’m sharing the title page for my December Daily project. In October, I shared how I was going to document December—9×12 pocket pages, 3-3×4 cards per day (1 photo, 1 story, 1 decorative card). See blog post here. It’s a really simple plan since I’m hoping to work on it a little bit every day. So for the title page, I knew I wanted to go all out and have fun embellishing every card in some way.
Supplies Used: December kit, Celebrate Stamp, Stars and Hearts Frosted Acrylic, Joy Journaling Tags, Deck the Halls Wood Veneer, ‘Tis the Season Dec2016 Acrylic, ‘Tis the Season Frosted Acrylic Shapes, ‘Tis the Season Bits & Pieces, ‘Tis the Season Double-Sided Journaling Tags, ‘Tis the Season Word Labels, ‘Tis the Season Cutouts, ‘Tis the Season 12×12 Paper Collection, ‘Tis the Season Wood Veneers, ‘Tis the Season Stamp, ‘Tis the Season Washi Tape Stickers, and ‘Tis the Season Puffy Stickers.
I used so much of the ‘Tis the Season collection but also this month’s kit, stamp and the awesome Joy Journaling Tags. Seriously, these are my favorite of everything Elle designed for Christmas this year! I used four of the cards on this spread.
There’s so much tiny embellishing on this page, acrylic stars, stamps, puffy stickers…so basically all of my favorite things! And I’m so happy to have used the Dec 2016 acrylic piece. I layered it with wood veneer and a die cut and I think it mimics a Christmas tree!
One die cut I want to point out is the pink label I added to the ‘Tis the Season to be Jolly card. It says “Memories recorded by:” I don’t include things like that often enough in my scrapbooks! I’m happy Elle created that label so I’m able to add my signature in somewhere.
I didn’t use photos from this December, rather a photo of my family from Thanksgiving, a photo of my partner’s family at his sister’s wedding last year, and a photo of our fur babies. They make up my family and I’m sure will be heavily featured in the following pages.
Are you documenting your December with Elle’s Studio products? We’d love to see them! If you’re on Instagram, hashtag #ellesstudio so we’re sure to see it!
