Today’s post features these fun pocket pages from Toni From! Toni has filled up her pocket pages with some special memories and we love how it turned out! Here’s what Toni has to say:
December is such a magical month full of many memories that we want to document. This can often seem an overwhelming task, but I (hopefully) will show you today that those memories that we hold most dear can be documented in a simple manner that is still fun and crafty. One of my favorite ways to do this is to create pages for my December Memories (or December Daily albums.) The month of December is busy for all of us. The only way I can keep up with my memory keeping is by keeping it simple, and Elle’s Studio’s Joyful Collection allows you to do just that.
Looking back at previous December albums is one of my favorite pastimes that really encourages Christmas spirit. Most of my albums are complete, but I did discover while reminiscing with my family that I had a few unfinished pages left in my 2012 album. The Joyful collection by Elle’s Studio is the perfect fit to document those magical December moments that our families will treasure for many years to come.
For my first page, I documented Christmas table memories in our home. For many of us, this is something that changes drastically from year to year. As our kids age, and families move, and even the food we serve changes, it is a really fun bit of documentation that is interesting to look back on.
I used one 4×6 photograph on this page. A few stickers and a small diecut from the Joyful collection in the bottom left corner was the perfect finishing touch.
To simplify the journaling process, I used one of the journaling cards and the adorable outline star stamp from the Joyful collection to list out some of our Christmas table moments. The wood veneer tree, tag, and letter and number stickers (in green and red) worked magically to add a festive touch to one of the pockets on this page.
For my second page, I highlighted my daughter’s Winter Choral Concert. This is such a fun tradition that my husband and I look forward to each and every year. Music is a big part of our families life, and especially our daughter’s.
The top two photographs on this layout were decorated using minimal embellishments. The diecut heart, wood veneer, and star and phrase sticker are all found in the Joyful collection, and were just the perfect finishing touches.
The Elle’s Studio Jordan Alphabet Stamps (outlines, dots and stripes, or solid) coordinate so beautifully with this simple journaling card from the Joyful collection. I don’t often get a chance to play around with colored inks and these stamps really allow you to do just that with minimal fuss. I think are definitely in my top three favorite stamp sets of all time!
