Today I am going to share the opening pages of my Fall 2015 Project Life albumI
I decided to use the 9×12 sized album to document our fall family memories (I am also working on separate Childhood albums for my children which will highlight their school year). I love this particular album and pocket sizes. It’s a very manageable!
For many of my opening pages I use coin pocket pages to create a collage. Often, I will somewhat repeat the pattern I have used in the past and just add different sentiments and photos (you can see my pocket page that I “lifted” here). Why recreate the wheel, right?
Using the new Thankful collection gave it a “fall feel”, without feeling overly autumn. The September 2015 kit also worked well in this spread. I just love those vellum hearts, and decided to give them it’s own pocket!
This first page after the cover page quickly highlights the first day of school. I documented more details of back to school in each of the kid’s childhood albums.
One of my favorite aspects of using the coin pocket page is seeing how the page behind it peeks through with some of the more open pockets. Below you can see what it looks like when you first open my album.
