As Mom, the scrapbooker, and the photographer of our family I’m the one capturing memories of us and our adventures. (Which means typically my scrapbooking is written from my point of view.) One day I thought, “ya know it’s so important to get our kids’ words in our books as well”. So, today I’m highlighting a page I created doing just that.
While playing in the snow last month I took a quick shot of each of my kiddos and created what I like to call an “interview” page. The Question being : What is your favorite part of winter?
I wrote the kids’ answers exactly as they told them to me. It was funny how their answers were all so similar. I used three of the 3×4 cards from the February Kit for the kids’ answers. Just a quick example of how you can use the cards out side of the pocket pages.
Products used: Elle’s Studio February Exclusive Kit, Always and Forever Stamp, Key to My Heart wood veneers, Letter & Number stickers – woodgrain, and teal.
Do you create “interview” pages in your album or do you typically tell your story in your own words? If not, I encourage you to give it a try today!
Just to keep the inspiration coming I’ve got a 2nd page I created from our same snow day again using that fabulous February Kit!
Happy Creating! ~Megan
